TreeLab Ver 1.0 is a growth and yield simulation model for plantation, coastal Douglas-fir. It is a stand level simulator, which inventories basal area, quadratic mean diameter, trees per acre and dominant height. TreeLab simulates two treatment types: fertilization and thinning from below. The data to which TreeLab is calibrated ranges from 1 to 51 years breast height age, therefore making it primarily a juvenile simulation model. The geographic scope of its database is from central Oregon to southern British Columbia, west of the cascade crest, the Douglas-fir belt.

The development of TreeLab was partially funded by the Stand Management Cooperative.
